Kavanaugh Hearing

In 1988 the Senate confirmed President Reagan's Supreme Court nominee,  Kennedy by a vote of 97-0.

In 1993 the Senate confirmed President Clinton's Supreme Court nominee, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, by a vote  of 96-3. 

Today - in 2018 -  we can barely get through a committee hearing without the Capitol erupting into a circus of partisan games.
