Media Roundup: Launch Week

It’s been quite a week! Powered by your support and energy, we successfully launched — for once — a campaign that isn’t driven by party loyalty and tribalism, but by a positive vision for a new age of politics driven by common sense.

We've hit the ground running, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Here is some of the amazing press coverage of our movement that we’ve seen since the launch — make sure to pass it along on social media!

Washington Post:  An independent candidate is jumping into the race against Sen. Cardin

"Simon said he was inspired by Unite America, previously known as the Centrist Project, which believes a few independent senators acting as a bloc could force both parties to the middle instead of their partisan extremes...Simon said he also is encouraged by the number of young voters who consider themselves independent...Almost 700,000 Maryland voters have declined to register with a political party, a 58 percent increase from a decade ago, state data show.”
